Just wondered if anyone feels a dull ache near their ovary where a tube was taken out when it comes to your menstrual. I dont feel anything all month and then as soon as im due i feel this horrible aching sensation?

Missing tube
I’ve had pain in the area where my tube was removed since before it was removed. I thought it was the blocked scarred tube causing the pain but it was worse after having it removed and I have had exploratory surgery since and they can’t tell me why. It is always when I am due on or on my period and have also had it at the beginning of my pregnancy and now again in the final few weeks. I think there is some scarring and maybe some nerve damage there. X
Congrats on your pregnancy xx i didnt have any pain before but had to have it removed because of a hydrosalpinx. I don’t feel any pain before periods so just wondered why i feel it close to period.... its an annoying dull ache... just wondering if it needs to be looked at again or whether its just normal experience this after removal😬
They said I may have to have to have the remaining tube clipped as it may cause issues with ivf but I got them to agree to leave it if it didn’t look swollen or hydrosalpinx on ultrasound as I was worried I would get pain on both sides if I had that one clipped. They said it wasn’t swollen so left it and it didn’t affect my ivf which I am so lucky to have worked first time.
The only other thing to consider is a cyst maybe as they can also cause pain near the ovary.
I had one tube removed and the other clipped near my uterus. I can certainly feel the one that is clipped, but not sure if it’s because it’s not done properly.
