Hello Ladies. Hope you are all doing well.

Im around 11 weeks pregnant and I actually sleep around 8to9 hrs at night and then 3to4 hrs during day . So I was wondering whether that's normal. Has anyone else having the same issue?? Do I need to see my GP or it's pretty normal?? Please share your thoughts.

Thanks for your time xxx

Hi MK05. You will be extra tired at times, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Have a word with your midwife when you see her again, and she will, probably do a blood test to check your iron levels, just in case you might be a little anaemic. Hope you're soon sorted. Diane

Hello Thanks for your support.

Yes I really feel too tired everyday. I'm not alone who feels like this I guess. I'm glad that it's all normal nothing to worry about 😊

hey hun, I'm 11 weeks pregnant this week too! and I can not peel myself off the mattress in a morning! I'm so so tired all the time, and very very lazy. I cant even be bothered to hoover the house I'm pretty sure I'm driving my DH mad! don't worry its not just you at all. apparently the tiredness eases about halfway through the pregnancy for most women, I'm hoping that's the case for me! xxx

its a nightmare isn't it but just try and enjoy it, after all how many excuses do you get in this life to be lazy! haha xxx

Hi do make the most of all the rest you are getting 👍 like previous comments you may need your iron levels checked as I did so have been taken iron tablets . I only have 4 weeks to go before baby arrives and I haven't slept for about 5 months 😱😱. I'm wide awake at night every night . It's driving me mad as all I want is just one night where I've had a sleep . Hope you get more energy soon and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy 😃

Make the most of it I’m 35 weeks and I’m lucky if I get 4 hours straight during the night 😴 mention it when you next see your midwife however I recall sleeping well in my early pregnancy it was as if I couldn’t get enough! Hope u have a happy and healthy pregnancy xxxx

My consultant recommended pregnacare max, unfortunately the big tablets (it’s three per day) are making me sick at the moment but I take it when I can. The other days I just take a small folic acid tablet.

I'm the same, was totally exhausted up to end of 1st trimester, sleeping all the time. Now nearly 20 weeks and glad if I get one or two good nights sleep in a week. Didn't sleep at all last week but my energy is up and don't feel so lazy anymore thankfully 😊

In the same, nearly 11 weeks and totally exhausted all the time 12hr kip at night and I nap about 2 hrs a day. I think from what I have read it's perfectly normal xx

Hey

We are in the same boat. And I feel same like you totally exhausted all the time and same amount of sleep

Thank God I'm not working. So I have all the time in the world to sleep 😊😊

Which brand multivitamin are you taking as my midwife didn't recommend any? I'm thinking about pregnacare but I feel liquid form are best.

I am 17 weeks and always shattered. Although I don't get the opportunity to sleep in the daytime, I could easily have a few hours' kip each day and sleep well at night! Don't think I am going to experience the second trimester glow that everyone goes on about! Hope it soon passes for you xxx
