So confused 🤔😔😢

Spoke to my clinic today about my negative tests after getting several positives. I’ve googled everything from Hook effect to HCG levels being too high for HPT’s after a certain point to people having negatives but having pregnancy symptoms nausea, fatigue, sore boobs, cramp etc. I know deep down it’s a “chemical pregnancy” and it’s all over. Anyway after speaking to my clinic I’ve been told to stop all my medication and I should have a bleed if I don’t have a bleed after 2 weeks I’m to take another pregnancy test and contact them. They said I won’t still be pregnant but I have to follow procedure which is alright for them to say but it’s me that has to pay for a clearblue test because that’s the ones they instruct you to use and why should I put myself threw the heartache of seeing a “not pregnant” test yet again. I just want to try to move on. They said they don’t give blood tests because they know it’s all over for me but I could have a blood test if I pay for it 😠.

Hi SuzanneAM. If I were you, I would see your GP and ask for a blood beta hCG test to confirm what is happening. I would carry on with medication until that had been done. My thoughts of course, but feel you need to know for sure what’s happening. Thinking of you. Diane

Seems really unfair! I would be like you, I would just want to know for definite right now instead of waiting and move on.. I would phone your doctor and see if they can be of more help.
