For those who have partners with obstructive Azoospermia, apart from sperm retrieval for ICSI, has anyone managed to have an operation to unblock the tubes etc leading onto successful natural pregnancy? X

Hi One2one, I asked about this but the consultant said it’s too risky and complicated operation to do 😢. It’s not fair but I hope they can give you a different answer x

Weve got an appointment on Friday but it's not looking good, apparantly the tubes that carry the sperm are only the breadth of a human hair in size. Plus the NHS havent carried out the procedure in the last 30 years 😣 X

I'm afraid they said it was too risky an operation to my husband too. So we had surgical sperm retrieval instead. Xx

Yeah weve had surgical sperm retrieval but ive been unsuccessful so far getting pregnant. Its so expensive too xx
