I have read a few articles on this too. I have never been offered it but I know someone that tried it but unfortunately didn't help them. However might be worth a try as it obviously works for some people!xx

Yeh my clinic mustn’t have bought in to the idea either. Im hoping for a transfer next week but I’ll have to see if my lining plays ball first! 🙈Hope all is good with you xx

I’ve had lining issues too. So hard as not a lot you can do. Mine only got to 6.6mm but it was triple layered so they were happy to do the transfer.

I saw an acupuncturist who advised on some blood flow food, mostly they are ones high in iron, and nettle tea. Also suggested a castor oil pack, basically castor oil on stomach ant hot water bottle. I have no idea if any of it worked but it made me feel like I was giving everything the best possible chance.

Best of luck.xxx

After my first failed icis they said it was because my lining was too thin. My consultant suggested about it but said there isn't much information as to whether it works or not. I drank raspberry tea and had acupuncture and it was thicker on this cycle

Hi Jude, my Consultant did give me viagra tablets to increase my lining for 4 days and it did help but I felt absolutely awful and had terrible migraine soon after taking each pill. I had more success using my frozen embryo with a completely natural cycle xxx

Hiya. Yes I have used this in a few cycles. It does not work on me but that DOES NOT mean that is the case for everyone.

There are a few interesting papers out there on it.

I would push for just taking sildenafil or viagra in its oral form but just via the vaginal route. If they start making sound about specifically prepared pessaries then this costs a lot.

That actual cost of the oral form is very low.

Be prepared for vaginal dryness though.

If you have any further questions feel free to PM me.

Good luck

xx

I am looking into this too as I was told by the person who scans me that she knows someone who tried everything for her lining and finally Viagra did the trick... but I do not know whether it lead to any pregnancy, or whether she had side effects. Hmm... tricky!
