So today being such an amazing day. I decided to work from home today and thought I would go to the park (regents park). So I was out in the sun for about three hours. I took lots water, fruits and snacks...Oh and I had an ice cream. But I did sweat a bit... In hindsight im wondering if that was a bad decision? I got excited with the weather and hoping now I didn’t do any harm to my little bean? I didn’t get dehydrated or anything but did definitely sweat. Any ideas, google scared me 😭

2 weeks ago I was in the Emirates! Like you I was sensible - drank plenty and snacked, plenty 😉 as you do on holiday! I can reassure you I was feeling the same, wondering how much sun/heat was too much?! But I think we subconsciously know when to call it a day... ☀️😎 I don’t think you’ve done any harm... it’s overheating with strenuous exercise that’s probably best avoided xxx
I don’t think you will have done any harm. It sounds like you were very sensible. Look at all the women who conceive, have babies/do ivf in hot countries xx
Second Vicky, I was going to say look at the rest of the world long as your hydrated don't get sun stroke or burnt your fine hun, enjoy it while it lasts hun we've needed this for a long time ☀ 😉
I'm pretty certain that no one in the UK gets enough vitamin D so spending some time in the sun can only do you good. As long as you didn't get sunburnt and you kept well hydrated. I say bring it on! 🌞🌞
You sounds like you've done everything right by enjoying the sun and keeping cool with ice cream & dehydrating. Don't stress, if it's ok in all the other hot countries in the world then a wee bit of heat and sun ain't gonna harm....enjoy it whilst it lasts I say!xxx
Holy moly, I was toasting in work....didnt help that I had boots, socks, leggings and a dress for work! I'm on the east coast....warmest it's been for a long time especially after the massive snow drifts! Think you dipped out lovely!!xxx
The one and only time I conceived naturally I was on holiday in Greece. I think the vitamin D is always good for you and boosts your body in lots of good ways. As others have said you didn’t get dehydrated or burnt so I think it can only be a good thing, think we should all enjoy the sun when it comes to the UK. Our bodies need the vitamin D xx
Sounds to me like you did some epic relaxing and soaked up some vitamin D! Keeping hydrated was at the forefront of your mind and so you just keep relaxed! x
Thank you Emu2016, I tried my best although to be fair my water turned hot quite quick in the sun, so had to get an ice cream lol. Thank you for taking your time to respond to me xx
