I had my ovitrelle shot 10 days ago, however I only had a half dose as I'm having ovulation induction not iui/ivf. So I had about 125 micrograms. Is it likely to be out of my system now?

Hi, I'm sorry you didn't get an answer to your previous post. Truthfully I don't know the answer to this. DianeArnold might know but not sure if she is active on posting on the weekends xx

Thank you, it's so frustrating haha. OTD isn't until Thursday but I found a test that was up to 6 days early and I caved haha. And there's a super faint line but I know a full dose can stay in your system for 10 days so I really don't know 😣 im just going to disregard that teat and wait it our now haha

Ah I understand now. I'm still not sure on the ovitrelle but I always think it's a good idea to wait until OTD. Believe me, the 2WW is a breeze compared to waiting for scans..... 😴

Well at the minute these 2 weeks feel like they are taking longer than the last 5 years spent trying to actually ovulate successfully and get the this point! Haha. I'm just hoping DH's "super swimmers" as the Drs put it have done their job haha. On a plus side, either way we are going on holiday in 3 weeks so holiday shopping has helped keep me busy

Hopefully it's good news for you that it's a positive test then!! ❤️

Hi. I’m here! 8-10 days for it to go! Hope all goes well. Diane

Thanks Diane, well I'm hoping that since I only had a half dose it's not the trigger shot in my system still

I can't seem to find anyone that has had a reduced dosage though to 5000iu instead of the usual 10000iu. Must be rare, due to me being high risk for over responding due to PCOS

I believe they say 5-14 days for the 250 shot so I would imagine that yours would definitely be out of your system by now 😊 xxx

I only have half of the ovitrille shot and was still told 8-10 days to be sure so Defo rest on the date you were given ! I though the 2WW was a nightmare but now I’m waiting for 8 weeks scan which is 4 weeks of waiting and that’s a lifetime 😂😂😂😂
