Waiting for AF in order to start short protocol...

Hi all, just wondering if anybody else will be going through an IVF/ICSI cycle during April?

I’m just waiting to come on in order to commence my Menopur injections... never before have I wanted to see my period so much! I’m due on anytime between Tuesday - Friday.

I will be, but not due on until 14th and won’t be starting hormones until day 21. Also doing frozen cycle so won’t be doing the transfer until Aug (!). First time so no idea what’s going on...!

Hi, how long ago was your consent appointment? Only mine is end of this month a couple of days before period x

Hi lovely, I had my initial scan at the end of Feb, with our consultation beginning of March. Then a couple of appointments in between for my partner (he’s done a sample and then a sample to be frozen), I had my endoscratch on Thursday along with our consent and learning how to do injections etc. And I start short protocol as soon as I come on. After waiting a long time,

It’s all turning around really fast!

I think it’s different if you’re on long protocol which I believe majority of women are xx

Hi Pip89,

I’m starting downregulation on Suprecur tomorrow.... Round 2... (IVF failed last April, and 2 failed FET). Periods should come end of next week, and I m hoping to be all done by the end of the month, but who knows.... 🤨 so I guess we should be more or less on the same timeframe. Good luck 🐣

Hiya pipa its so frustrating isnt it last month when i had to wait for my period to attend the clinic for my consent and screening and a follicle scan to determine the protocol i was going on i was 5 days late 😫.... i to am waiting for my period to arrive its around the 9th then its full steam ahead also on the short protocol with icsi 🤞🏻 xx

Hi Pip89, AF started today for me. I’m also on short protocol and starting Menopur injections tomorrow. Just glad for things to finally be underway! x
