Hi, I started bleeding on day 7 of my TWW which looked as though it was af, and this finished after day 12. I had to keep taking my progesterone pessaries just in case, however on test day it was a BFN- as expected.
Is it a usual case to have the af during the TWW? Or is this unusual?
I’m waiting to see the consultant at the end of the month and have so many questions to ask.
Anyone heard or been through this before?
Any advice/recommendations please?

Sorry to hear of your BFN, I haven’t experienced it myself but have heard of women bleeding during the tww. Hopefully your consultant has some answers for you xx
I have had it both times and they wanted to know the exact day I started to bleed in order to check if I might have been too low on progesterone, but when I told them the dates, they said it was within normal. On the last cycle I started to bleed exactly two weeks after my egg collection which was only just over half way through my 2ww.
I’ve had this on both my last cycles- first one on day 6 and second time I made it to day 10 then had a bleed like never before! Both resulted in a BFN- I was told to keep using the pessaries until OTD. Am hoping that this cycle will be completely different and keeping everything crossed it’s going to work xx
I’ve had two bfps but two bfns. No bleeding before otd for me as I think the meds keep it at bay. However I do see that unfortunately it seems to happen to a few women on here. I’m sorry for your bfn xx
