I just got my tentative transfer date and I’m suppose to fly during my TWW. With clearance from my MD, do you recommended still booking my flight or should I just stay home?

Flying during TWW
Hello! I don't imagine the flight itself would present any kind of problem in the 2ww, so maybe it will come down to how comfortable you are flying during the pandemic. I caught Covid on a plane over Christmas, so now I'm a bit suspicious of flights, but ours was a 7-hour journey with lots of obviously sick people on it...
I flew home 5000 miles the day after transfer. The clinic gave me a note so I didn't have to go through the x-ray machines. I was exhausted but everything went fine. I'm 5 months along now.
Hi TexasRose. Lots of ladies that have treatment abroad fly back home the same day, or day after, so you should be fine. good luck! Diane
I am from Texas and had my transfer in Denver few weeks ago. I flew back home about 5 days after my transfer. I am 5 weeks along but had some issues with my hcg starting off low but it’s been going up so hoping for the best. I would not fly back right away I would give the baby some time to implant. Make sure you don’t carry any bags and just try not to have any stress. I listen to a lot of meditation on fertility app which really helps. I also saw your post from earlier about back to back fets. I had this fet right after my last failed fet. So i think it’s ok to do them back to back. I wish you all the best. Fingers crossed and sending you positive vibes. I am still hoping my pregnancy is viable. Sigh. Praying for the best.
