Does anyone know how long the results take to come back? I’m a little nervous as it’s been approx 4 years since I last tested my levels, which were 7.2 at the time. Depending on the result will depend whether we go for another cycle with my eggs. Does anyone know what level doctors believe is too low to try a fresh cycle with own eggs? Appreciate your thoughts!!

Hiya jules this AMH test I absolutely hate it ...... the waiting it awfull i found that i could ring the clinic 2-3 days after they took blood and they would have the results there ..... dont let it get you down though jules..... the first amh test i had done was a ruthless 5.39 been 28 at the time i was heartbroken they said that they would retake this to rule out a blip...... well i flaked give up it was awfull anyway they did a retake and it went to 10.99 still low but it doubled and got me over the not been able to even qualify for treatment they ruled it as a blip ....... anyway the consultant wanted another repeat of the test and today at 29 my amh is 17.99 just shows its not always correct they cant explain it .... wishing you lots of luck with your results and treatment jules dont give up 🍀🤗Xx
It’s incredible that it can change so much. I’ve been told by clinic today that results can differ depending where you have the test done as they use slightly different measurements. I should have results back this time next week apparently. How have you responded to Ivf with the levels you have? Xx
I will be finding out very soon Jules i have my pretreatment appointment this afternoon... i know that there very low for my age and that this will probably be my last shot because the older i get the lower my amh will go ... hope your results are what your hoping for none of this is easy is it i hate waiting..... Xx
Thanks Terri. I’m just hoping it hasn’t nose dived too much!! I’m just going to have to forget about it for a week. We find out the day we have our consult with our new clinic. xx
