Urgent advice needed...

I was supposed to have taken my final cetrorelix shot this morning in preparation for egg collection on Tuesday. However, I managed to spill it all over my pyjamas when I tried to draw the shot up. I'm waiting for an urgent call back in an hour but I am so stressed that I may ovulate!! I have been doing so well and follicles are lovely and big, afraid it'll all be ruined

First things first.... that bit of advice that’s easier said that done... try and relax and not worry too much. The nurse will call you back very soon.

Do remember you’re not the first and won’t be the last and you’ll probably be able to get an emergency shot of some description.

Thank you for your reassurance, I was horrified when I looked down and saw a puddle of liquid on my PJs. I've left an emergency message and just hoping someone picks it up soon, time is of the essence xx

As it is a Sunday, I had to ring the gynae ward of another hospital who will pass the message on to the on call nurse at my hospital at 9am. I'm an hour overdue for my shot now, trying to stay calm!! This is my only chance to get it right this time xx

emu2016, an on call nurse is sorting out the dosage in about half an hour, really appreciated your kind words, thank you so much xx
