Newbie interested in learning more about IVF

Im new here, i guess at the moment im just looking for information regarding IVF. Hopefully my husband and I should be starting IVF in April. At the moment were just waiting for more tests as both of us have fertility issues.

At our last appointment it was hard to take everything in and like always the questions came to us once we had left the consultant.

Looking forward to the long journey ahead.

Good luck with your journey, if questions come up then try posting on here, everyone will do their best to help.

Good luck with the wait to hear your next step, once you know what your treatment plan will be and all your tests are done then people on here will be able to offer advice and success stories I’m sure. Xx

Hi, and welcome! I'm new to the forum too, but pretty experienced (if that's the right word for it!) when it comes to IVF.

I hope this doesn't come across as spammy (I make no money from it), but I've actually just created a website that contains articles explaining IVF in plain English.

E.g. here's an in-depth article about the IVF process from start to finish: theduff.co.uk/ivf-process-s...

And this one is called "7 things no one tells you about IVF (and what to do about them)": theduff.co.uk/ivf-what-to-e...

There are lots of diagrams to help explain things, and a few lame jokes to break up the sciencey stuff! The main URL is theduff.co.uk/
