I was wondering if anyone out there has had IVF success with a Unicornuate Uterus? I’ve never had a pregnancy and the clinic has said that apart from my uterus (that nobody seems that worried about) I fit into the ‘Unexplained’ category..
It is a very rare condition I am told, one which does carry higher miscarriage rates too..
Just curious as I kind of feel that it’s more of a bigger deal then what everyone else makes out and it really feels like because I have it, full term pregnancy or any pregnancy at all is a tall order!! Xxxx

Hi Jen, unfortunately I can’t offer any advice but can empathise with how you’re feeling at the mo. I found out during IVF that I have a septate uterus and it was shrugged off by my specialist. I’m still unclear about the actual implications. I’m being sent for a scan but they basic message I got is we won’t do anything about it unless you miscarry, which feels like a terrible bar to set. From what I have read, the results, much like IVF more broadly, are mixed for women with uterine abnormalities. I really hope someone on here has more practical advice for you though. Best wishes x
