Hubby sick

Folks my hubby is sick now a week, headache, flu sympoms, sick stomach. We have ec Monday week (5th march) he has living of solpadol tablets and medicine and it's only now we are thinking shit Erik this effect his sperm sample? Any thoughts?

Hiya Littleflower82, how long has he been taking the solpadol for? Am I right in saying that they are 30/500 cocodamol? If so then they will cause a headache to become worse after 3 days use and they could be contributing to his sick stomach. If he can get sudafed sinus pressure (found behind a pharmacy counter) then they will help for his headache and flu symptoms. Has he been sick? It’s the time of the year when all of these viruses are around. I would have him to stop them Thursday or if you wanna be on the safe side then just paracetamol and inhale olbas oil in hot water in a bowl. Hope this helps luv xx

Hi Littleflowe 82. Sorry to hear DH is so,poorly. The paracetamol in Solpadene should be ok, but the codeine in it could decrease the motility of the sperm. Discuss it with the clinic, but if you give him 10 hours without the drug, it should be out of his system. Maybe he could switch to just paracetamol soon? Hope he is soon feeling better and good luck with egg collection. Diane

Thank u so much girls for the advice, I def will get him paracetamol then as doesn't think the solpadol was helping much anyway ( he is a very bad patient lol) xx
