In the morning I take I missed that..So it's nearly 12 now... Please help
Hi MK05 dont worry it'll be fine. I'd check with your clinic but as far as I am aware you should not take any extra to compensate, so if your next dose is around now just take that. Obviously if your next dose isn't til later on then just take the AM missed dose now and then carry on as normal. On my first ivf round I had to spray it a few times a day and did miss a few, it didn't make a difference in the end. I think the dosage is much higher than it needs to be to make sure these things are covered xx
Hi MK05. You will be fine, even if you miss the odd dose, as you will be scanned to check all is well, and if not, you just carry on for a couple more days. Good luck with it all. Diane
Hi, just contact your clinic. You should be fine. I think missed one once and took the next one as normal. Then the clinic checked me and I was fine. But please check with your clinic. Take care xx
Thanks everyone. Yes I did take it.
Just have another quick question that my period is due around first week of March and still haven't done egg collection. Tomorrow is my day 12 scan so just wondering that how it will work.. I mean how the egg collection and transfer can be done together near period date? Does anyone know about it please share your experience.
Thanks in advance
Hi MK05 have the clinic not given you a schedule of dates? They should have done by now, I would call them to check. Your EC should be roughly around the time of ovulation, which is about 10-14 days after your period. I don't know the difference between long and short cycle though as I've only ever done long cycle. Best to check with your clinic xx
I thought that once you were on the IVF meds, your cycle is changed (ie your own natural cycle is switched off). I was on a long protocol so I did not have a period until just before my BFN- I started down regulation just before Christmas and did not have a period until February. I did not keep track of my old (natural) cycle once I was on the down regulation drugs. I was expecting to be on stimulation meds for about two weeks but actually needed a bit longer - it was only in the week or so before that they started talking about dates. Have a chat with your clinic at your next scan. I don’t know how it works for a short protocol if that is what you are on.
I agree with Zoe, that was my understanding too
