Lovely lining; naff all in ovaries

So....... I had my first scan for this cycle tonight. As a woman who feels a bit redundant as a woman when it comes to fertility nothing gives me a bigger smile at this stage when they say: “what a lovely lining!”

There’s naff all in my ovaries except for a teeny follicle in each ovary. Though that’s to be expected!

So that’s donor chosen; flights booked; hotel booked; extra nights at hotel booked 😂; scan done and 42 days until injections begin... 42! I think I’ll have a glass of wine on Friday!

Absolutely. And that’s all that matters! I’ll get scanned during my injections next. But for now.... all good! x

It's small victories. The nurse told me I had a good shaped cavity and felt smug about it! 😂

Hysteroscopy got all clear removed some tissue and a large fibroid, gave some implantation cuts.

Get those happy thoughts going... a lot can happen in a few days... so fingers crossed you get enough eggs to get you to the next stage! good luck! It’s hard enough to face ivf without your body behaving too... so I’ll cross my toes for you! x

It is scary for sure....Im just trying not to think to far ahead or so I keep telling myself, not quite sure its working! Ha ha ha I kind of just want to get it over with, which probably sounds terrible but I find the waiting seriously does my head in!xx

However, I think you should feel smug about your juicy lining! I know my body has massively frustrated me throughout all the fertility struggles so every victory, however small is awesome!! Bring on those, now 41 days!!!!!! 👍👍😘😘
