Hi everyone, I’m Carrie 30 from Scotland. I was diagnosed with sever pcos at 19. Been with my partner 10 years with no luck, at the fertility clinic off and on for nearly 4 years. I’ve had ovarian drilling, the test to see if my tubes are blocked which they were all fine, 6 failed rounds of clomid and 1 unsuccessful iui. Currently on my 2nd iui cycle of 75mg of gonal-f. I started bleeding during my last cycle and it was stopped and I’m worried it’s happening again. Feeling very alone, so I’m hoping to connect with people in similar situations :) thanks for listening xx

Welcome to the forum! I can relate so much to the treatments you’ve already had- your definitely not alone now. It’s totally understandable to feel worried but I really hope all goes well for this cycle xx

Hi - you've certainly come to the right place. This forum has kept me sane when I've felt like I'm falling apart, and given me more information than any other resource. All the people on here are kind, compassionate, informative and - most of all - we just get it. And when it feels like no one else does, it can be a life saver. All the best to you xxx

I am not exactly in the same boat as you are but I can understand your situation. As my DH and I are TTC for more than 3 months and have got nothing good to share. I am afraid of being infertile because of the endometriosis. We decided to visit a clinic and the doctor said to continue trying for some more time. If still, we won't conceive he will be doing the laparoscopy to know the cause. The fear of being infertile is killing me deep inside. And here you are fighting with all of this. I must say you are a strong lady. Stay the same and hope for the best this time. You will be having your baby soon. Wishing you luck for future and lots of baby dust on your way.

I’ve never been told to stop trying and all seems to go fine most of the time! I’m definitely open to other options such as adoptions, it runs in my family as my mother and aunts were adopted. I just want to exhaust every option offers by the nhs first in the hope of carrying my own child one day 🙂 unfortunately we could not afford the costs of surrogacy xx

Hi Cara_mac I’ve found this forum really helpful, really helps to know there are people that are going through similar situations and gives you hope when people have a successful outcome at the end, almost makes it seem worth it.

I’m going to be 32 next week 🙈 we have unexplained infertility and our first IVF cycle was unsuccessful, we’re going to try iui before another IVF cycle, we only have one more on the NHS before we would need to self fund.

Hope you find being on the forum helpful and wishing you luck in your journey 😊 xx
