BFN + questions and hopeful optimism

So I did 2 tests this morning, I was very good didnt test early, but both negative, Feel empty and low. I really thought I was pregnant after how many signs I have been having even still having (TMI - brown stringy discharge, nausea, unable to eat big meals and weight loss). Have got to call the hospital later and tell them, not sure if i'm going to be able to do that conversation. My mum for some reason still believes that I might be..... Is it at all possible that the negative result was wrong?.... Also are you more fertile after failed IVF?? Are we more likely to fall pregnant naturally??? ....

What day did the clinic ask you to test on? Some clinics say day 10 and other day 14. I think realistically if you have tested on day 14 then its likely to be a true result. Unfortunately the progesterone that we have to use mimicks pregnancy symptoms so to go by symptoms is really hard. Sending hugs.xx

Tested on dad 14, the hospital have just asked me to come in for a blood test to make sure it is negative , not holding out much hope for any other result. Thanks x

I’m sorry Kdixxy169 bfn’s are horrible and the cruelty of the progesterone mimicking pregnancy symptoms doesn’t help. Take time and take care of yourself.

Blood test has confirmed negative pregnancy test. Now to pick myself up and dust myself off and wait for the next try x

I know two people who fell pregnant very quickly after ivf (one her first baby, one it was secondary infertility), and both say they felt that the ivf kickstarted something x
