Hey all, my naturopath has put me on a new diet called the Keto diet - high fat and low carb. There are a ton of benefits to it, weight loss is one but better egg health is another and there are cases on significant increase in egg quality (although I think this is all unverified info) Anyway, just wondering if anyone has tried it and what the results were?

Keto Diet Success?
When I first tried it I lost weight very quick and I got pregnant this time with a heartbeat sadly miscarried though I dont think the keto really helped as egg health gets, better over three month. But if it does help I'll defo do it again especially now I feel like iv put in the 2lbs I lost last week. Win win all round
💗🤗😘
Hello! I am sorry to hear you miscarried. Yes, I know you have to be on the diet for a number of months, I am going to be starting my next round mid-March so although I won't have given it 3 months, I will be about 2 months by the time I have an egg harvest. It is supposed to be nurturing and supportive of the whole reproductive system so it can't hurt either way!

I'm defo going to go back in it. I got insomnia first week but the energy I had was off the scale. Suffering with fatigue energy is like a miraculous gift. Good luck lovely let me know how you get on 💗🤗😘
I haven’t done Keto but been doing Whole30 which is also high fat and protein and low carb. The aim is to reduce inflammation and just eat whole foods (absolutely nothing processed) I think it’s less strict than Keto diet and potentially a good way to ease into Keto.
Sounds very interesting. Hoping it makes the difference for you x
Thankyou! I shall report back
