We never thought we would get to this stage but happy we are here. ET booked for Wednesday. Excited and nervous as I know it’s one stage at a time. Praying πŸ™πŸΏ to God all goes well. Praying for you too Oharal as we will be going through it together. I have heard of Pom juice πŸ₯€ on the day of transfer and the day after. Does any of you lovely ladies have any idea about it. Or anything that can help our little embies to stick? Thank you xxx

They also suggest eating pineapple including the core for 5 days after ET and Brazil nuts help. Also keep your feet warm it’s meant to keep your uterus warm. Good luck x

Thank you so much E_05. Trying to keep my feet warm with fluffy socks. I always have cold feet so thank you πŸ™πŸΏ. I also just ran to the store to buy pineapple 🍍 ready for wednesday. Thank you again. One question. How much pineapple should I eat and when should I stop?x

That’s okay, j just cut a small pineapple into 5 portions as it’s advised to eat it for 5 days and the core is what’s said to be the important part x

Thank you so much lovely. When should I start with the pineapple? Is it the day of ET or the day before? You have been amazing with your advise x

I always start on the day of ET. As others have said, I do believe its down to luck but it’s always worth doing things that make you feel like your doing things to help x

So exciting. I have been drinking pom juice everyday since menopur and wont stop until next week. I have read mixed things about the pineapple core so do your research to see how you feel my lovely. Defo agree with E_05 with the keeping feet warm, I wear fluffy socks all day and then wear bed socks as well. Its really important to keep warm for our little embie hotel. Acupunture is said to help, my consultant advised me to have acupuncture. I have it booked for Tuesday and then ill do another on Wednesday. I'll keep you posted with any other tips xxx

Thank you my lovely. I am going to start Pom juice tomorrow. Will keep my always cold feet warm and cosy. My feet and hands are always cold that they found it difficult to find a vein on collection day. They however found it after giving my poor hand a few slaps haha πŸ˜‚ x I have also stocked on Brazil nuts. Are you having any. Unfortunately I never thought of acupuncture and I guess it’s too late to get appointments now. God will look after me. I also hard no cold foods and drinks. Room temperature and warm is advisable.x

I will start eating Brazil nuts tomorrow evening and will buy myself a pineapple. I wasn't sure on the pineapple but my friend has had IVF 3 times and sadly 2 times ended in miscarriage and the time she ate pineapple she was gifted with a gorgeous little boy. xxx

That’s great about pineapple. Did she eat the core or fresh as well and how long for?xx

oharal in reply to JULIETJAM

She said she bought a small pineapple, cut into 5 sections with each section including the core than ate 1 sections every day from day of transfer until it was gone, so 5 days xx

Thank you πŸ™πŸΏ Dunla. I will keep you posted. My mock transfer was a difficult one as it was difficult for the consultants to get the catheter to the womb. It took 3 consultants and over one hour to break through. Hopefully it will go smoothly this time. They know which catheter to use as they tried a few and they took a picture of the catheter in the womb for guidance. I am praying πŸ™πŸΏ to God it works smoothly this time x

Hello Lyeo,

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I am at the stage of ET which is tomorrow. 1st ivf and it’s going to be a fresh transfer tomorrow. Only one will be transferred however because they want to avoid multiple birth. I would not mind twins though. In fact I would love to have twins. I am praying πŸ™πŸΏ it works for us this cycle. I am at the same stage with the lovely Oharal and it’s been amazing doing every step with her. We pray it works this time.

Thank you again.x
