Hgc levels after a mc.

Good morning!

So I'm now 22 days after my D&C. I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks.

I started my Buserilin again yesterday and remembered today to do a pg test to check my levels.

Should it still be showing as positive this long after surgery? Or should I contact the epu. In case there is any tissue left?

I've only had a natural mc before so not sure how a d&c works.

Everyone is different, your hCG levels can take a little while to normalise after a miscarriage whether you have a D & C or natural. I think you should probably speak to your clinic just in case this impacts you starting or whether they want to check your levels etc.xx

It took me weeks and weeks for my levels to drop to what the clinic wanted them to be at before starting a new round. I was backwards and forwards having blood samples taken.

I started to get stressed by it all but I just think everyone is different and it takes our bodies time to adapt.

It might be worth talking to your clinic and they can maybe offer you HCG blood tests to get you to the levels they want before starting treatment.

It's all such a pain! You'd think our bodies go through enough! Now more waiting & not knowing! The Epu said to test again on Monday then to phone them. Xx
