Second day of short protocol 😬

Hi everyone, I had my first Bemfola injection last night... so nervous / excited!

Is there anyone else at a similar stage and would like to share their experience? Xx

Not too bad! I didn’t do the injection myself, so got my husband to do it.. I think he quite enjoyed it! Haha.

When do you start? Xx

hoping to in feb since they couldn't fit us in before ha i will ask mine to do them for me too. Is it the prefilled pen? was it simple enough. My teach was so long ago xx

We were delayed by two months because of Christmas holidays.. it was so frustrating.

Yes we have the prefilled bemfola pens.. have to mix the cetrotide injections ourselves then back for an action scan on Sunday... it’s nuts how quickly everything happens once it starts.

Not long now to wait until Feb now..I know that doesn’t make the waiting any easier but you’ve come this far 🙂 xx

I think potentially that as I’m not feeling the effects and have only just started I’m feeling quite positive. My husband is being the more grounded of the two of us.. which is good. Someone needs to be I guess.

When you wait for something for so long and everything is building up to this one point it’s ridiculously scary xx

Hi SMoon84, I am 5 days into our first go at ISCI so it’s all very daunting. Im not on the same meds as you as I’m on Buserelin but I’m also getting Hubby to do the injections as I’m quite a big wimp x

Hi how are you feeling? Have you had many side effects?

I’m on cetrotide protocol using bemfola... I didn’t even know there were different types of meds! Xx

Me neither! It’s all very new to me and I don’t really understand a lot of the terms so just trying to take it one day at a time! I’m on the long protocol so have Buserelin injections for 5 weeks but also start Menopur injections on the 17th Feb. So far no side effects other than bruising where we are doing the injections so feeling quite positive at the moment. How are you managing? X
