1st consultation this week !!

I have my 1st consultation with a private clinic this week can I ask roughly how long did everyone wait from 1st appointment to having tests and then treatment starting ??

Hiya, with a private clinic i’m guessing things will move more quickly than at an NHS hospital. However it still takes a bit of time to get your tests done and have the preliminary appointments to decide on a treatment protocol, sign paperwork etc. You might find it could take a month or two as you could have your tests done but then have to wait for your period before you can start your treatment. Hi Hidden we had our first consultation on 4th Dec which was combined with a sperm analysis appointment on the same day. We arranged blood tests previous to this so we were able to give the results to our consultant at the appointment. We started treatment on 13th Dec. It can happen quickly if all your bloods and sperm tests are normal, and obviously arranging payment on time! 😊 xx

We have had a lot of tests via the clinic at the hospital but I’m presuming they will want to repeat bloods ,sperm etc . So we will see what tomoro brings and hopefully it’s a lot less hassle and stress for us . Thank you x
