1st injection done!!

Well that's it! Just given myself my 1st injection for our ivf with Icsi cycle and it was super easy!! No pain at all but I did shove a pack of frozen peas on my stomach for a minute beforehand you know in case ha ha now it all really begins!! 😊😊

Hello, good luck with your cycle, I was the same when I started my first cycle absolutely petrified of needles now I have well and truly overcome my fear and I'm now injecting by myself!!

I currently on day 11 on injections but waiting for my AF!!

Waiting for AF is the worst isn't it! When you want it to come it takes forever then when you don't want it it's there on time or early ha ha xx

It gets easier Laura.... we started in November....(egg collection was mid November), due to a issue, we had to put things on hold, but we're now on the final stretch as it wer.... the wife is on bursekon injections ATM.

I start my first injections 17th Jan. Thanks for the tip. Reassuring to hear it ok! Bit worried about the injections. Someone else said the down regulation injections can cause tenderness or redness so use a cool pack to hep!!

I think it's our brains that make us think it will be really bad and hurt ha ha I've done my second injection tonight and again had no problems just breath and do it. Good luck for the 17th xx
