First appointment yesterday

So currently losing sleep after my first appointment yesterday at infertility clinic. They found I’ve got fibroids and a polyp which I have pre op

Appointment for next week, I’m super stressed anyone else experience this then go on to have a child ? I’m in work in 3 hours and I’ve had no sleep overthinking, stressing !

I don't have fibroids but I did have a polyp. It actually decided to come out by itself quite randomly, and because I was unaware of its presence, it completely freaked me out! From what I can gather they're easily removed and it seems you may be able to have it removed under a local anaesthetic, though I read differing information on this. I think they insert a loop like thing and twist them off. I didn't feel mine come out so I imagine they're quite painlessly removed. I'm guessing of course, but I felt absolutely nothing when mine came out

Hi! I have surgery booked to have a polyp, fibroid and blocked tube removed. Apparently it's very common and very straight forward! The consultant told me I'd then need to have 2 period before ringing to book my first cycle on my third period but it may be different for you if you don't need any tubes removing! Good luck x
