Follicles not yet ready...EC delayed

Hey lovelies, so we had another scan today. I couldnt look at the camera the same way after it's been referred to on here as a dildo cam 😂😂

Unfortunately EC not going ahead as planned on tuesday but Ive been given Thursday as a potential new date so fingers crossed it goes ahead then. Thanks to this forum and reading about other people's experiences this didnt come as a huge shock to me & Im thankful for that. I think had it not have been for this forum i would have catastrophised this news at my apt and broke down.

Consultant said some of the follicles are still quite small and they need more time / meds to grow so we were sent off to pharmacy to collect some more. Just hoping we can go ahead on Thursday. There are roughly 4/5 follicles on each side but this includes the small ones so not sure how many eggs i might get.

I definitely feel as though there is pressure in my stomach as if the follicles are getting bigger but maybe thats just wishful thinking!

Just really sore hun still bleeding heavy and soooooo tired. I think my iron might need checking tbh feel like iv been knocked for six. I'm going to go on the pill for a few month limit the risk of falling on again 💗💗🤗😘😘

I’m good, we are so excited for this week but also absolutely terrified! We were out for lunch with family today. Stuffed my face so I’m lying here now with a big full belly. Was nice to get out for a few hours to take my mind off the inevitble. Hopefully it’ll be a fantastic week for the pair of us 😘 x

Aww they know what they’re doing and with the extra meds then they’ll pick up soon enough. I had my dose increased because I had only the right ovary that they could see. Fingers crossed for you xx

Okay actually, I have my first scan tomorrow. I've had no bloating or any side effects (yet) although hit a blood vessel today so have a little bruise! Hopefully all is good tomorrow xxx

Thank u kdixxy169! My consultant is so nice and i think that helps, he said it was still good and the nurse said this happens all the time. Best of luck for ur scan, let us know how u get on 😘
