So I am booked in to have the ERA test to see if my womb is receptive. Looking for support from anyone else that has had this. Xx

I had this test done last year and wish I had had it at the very start.. the tested day five after start of progesterone and I can back pre receptive, so had it repeated on day 6 and it came back receptive.. although still not pregnant at least I know I’m receptive.. just having a immunology test on endrometrium this month.. good luck and hopefully you’ll be pregnant I no time x

I had this test done last year.

One of my consultants was not pleased that the clinic abroad had requested this test. I did eventually get pregnant but unfortunately miscarried. In his eyes this was evidence enough that I was receptive.

I was on progesterone for 5 days and then was tested. I came back receptive.

As Dreamydoran says this will give an indication if pre receptive (need longer progesterone time), receptive or post receptive (need less progesterone time).

I am not sure how many cycles you have been through and if you have had any positive pregnancies.

We have had a lot of rounds of treatment and sometimes I just wish they would test for these things right from the get go.

These test are expensive but so are the costs of treatment if you have no support from the NHS.

Good luck with your test

Thanks for this. I have had every test under the sun......apart from this one. Unexplained fertility issues, so this could be the answer - im hoping (and praying). Other than this, i dont know what else there is left to do. Not willing to put anymore good quality blasto's in without more answers. Just wish that all these tests had been done 3 years ago (ttc for 6 years) when we started IVF instead of having to go through all the heartache of unsuccessful treatments. Never had a pregnancy yet :(.

I totally hear you. Exactly the same. Many rounds with my own eggs. No bfp.

Moved to DE and thought we had cracked it but miscarriage

More rounds with DE FET.

Even after ERA another BFN.

More tests of every blood condition or immunology test going.

But us ladies never give up hope.

Let me know how you get on

Good luck.

Xxx

Hi MrsA29. A test that I wish every NHS clinic would offer, but like everything else it's down to cost. Good luck with it when you have it done. Diane
