Prolonged Period!

Hi all just a question really ... I've been on my period now for 7 day's and it's still bleeding not heavy not it's not tapering off! i did miss my period all last month and i went to my doctor about this and she did a pregnancy test and result's came back NEG ( thanks god! ) but I've always had irregular periods since teenage year's but this is now becoming problematic for me to deal with. i'm just wondering is anyone else or is anyone else the same way when it come down to there monthly periods? and if so what could be good advice in how too get it too stop or stop being so long? ... thanks x

Hi LoneWolf91. I think in view of you suffering from such irregular periods for so long, perhaps it is time to see your GP again and ask for a specialist referral to find the reason and get appropriate treatment if needed. Good luck! Diane
