It’s been a while...

How is everybody? I haven’t written a post on here for a long time now. I have logged on every now and then as I like to see how you are all getting on - I can see some of the ladies have had or are pregnant with babies which is amazing news 👶🏻💗💙

I had my little girl in March she is now 8 months old and just amazing. I got pregnant on my second FET after having treatment for high NK cells. We had ICSI as my partner has low sperm count.

I feel very blessed to have our little girl - we are now hoping to have another baby before we get married in August 2019- we decided we would like (hopefully) to have our children close together. Unfortunately i have not been on any contraception since we had our little girl so we went to our private clinic on Friday so my partner could have his sperm analysed and his count has got worse, the chances of conceiving naturally is less than 5% - he will need to produce a few samples ahead of our cycle so we have enough for ICSI. I do not have any embies left over so we will be going through a fresh cycle in January.

So I’m back on the IVF rollercoaster...!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl. And I want to wish you luck for January. I’m currently pregnant with my first child. And I found out on Saturday that none of remaining 3 fertilised embryos from our first round of IVF weren’t viable to freeze. So if we wanted another child we know we have to do IVF all over again. And at this moment in time I’m happy with just the one child. But we may change our minds over the next few years.

Congratulations!! Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy. I loved being pregnant other than the weight gain- I put on over three stone!

Sorry to hear none were viable to freeze. It’s hard thinking about going through it all again but it will be worth it in the end. Xx

It will. I’m trying to be good throughout my pregnancy I know I will gain weight but I stick to slimming world throughout my pregnancy. Thank you xxx

Hi! Lovely to hear your news and that all is well. I remember we got our bfp on the same day last summer?! My daughter was also born in March and i feel lucky every day. Can’t believe they are 8 months old!

Yes I remember! How is your little girl? I also feel very lucky - count my blessings every day. Time has flown it has gone so quickly she is crawling talking I just can’t believe it.

Thank you for the luck- part of me hoped that as I wasn’t obsessing so much over being pregnant that it may have happened naturally but unfortunately it hasn’t. But I know I’m very lucky to have my girl. Xxx

I do know what you mean, it’s a different mindset isn’t it? We need to have this conversation about what to do next but kind of don’t want to backwards again. If that makes sense?! X

It sure is. I understand exactly what you mean- i feel like it was only yesterday we were going through it all - I am nervous about going through it all again but excited at the same time. Xx
