Hi all have EC tomorrow and feeling really anxious - still wondering if I have made right decision to go down the IVF route - I know that if I don’t go ahead with it I’ll always wonder what if

I often ask myself how we got here and whether this is really what I want, it’s not what I foresaw for us but if it’s the only way for us to have a family I’ll persevere for now.

Good luck. It's all very quick. For mine, they did not sedate me and was a shock as expected that but most places do. Here in Spain it's different. Good luck and let us know how it went.

Nerves are difficult to deal with and I remember the anxiety I had around my first cycle even now I still think is it the right path we constantly doubt but stay strong EC is not that bad xx hope it all goes well

Good luck! Ec is a great , you get to sleep right through it

I cried as they gave me the anaesthetic because I was quite scared but then I woke up and all was well.

Ivf is really tough, I think it’s so normal to be scared and wonder if you’re making the right choice, i can’t imagine anyone actually wanting to do ivf as a first choice to conceive! I’m not happy about having needed to do it, but I’m SO happy that we did it

All done so glad it’s over but don’t remember it - just dull ache at the moment on my way home question for you all .. anyone back to work tomorrow I had planned to but the nurses didn’t advise it - to be fair though I can sit down most of the day as they know about it

I would take the nurses advise. I took the week off as I work with children and needed a few more days to recover before ET xx

Well done and good luck with the eggs!! I had mine this morning and I'm hoping to go to work tomorrow (they don't know I'm having IVF).. Not for a full day as I want to be home for the phone call but intend to go in the afternoon see how you're feeling and don't push yourself xx

Yes that's my thoughts too... although at the moment cramping has got a lot worse and feeling a little constipated ... how are you feeling?

I feel the same, crampy and it hurts to go to the loo even for a wee!! The things we put our bodies through!! Also have the tail end of a cold and it hurts to cough haha, don't make this easy for myself!! Still going to see how I am in the morning.. xx

Hey ladies. I had ec today too! Still in quite a lot of pain like a dull ache. I’m going back to work tomorrow though as likewise they don’t know about the ivf and have taken a couple of days off next wk hoping for day 5 transfer so I can’t afford to take any more holiday dates! Figure next few days are the easy bit as there’s not actually much going on other than recovery! Hope you’re all feeling ok! And good luck for next few weeks. X

Please don’t worry I was petrified before mine but it’s the best sleep you will have and just chill after xx
