How soon before needle teach appointment did you receive meds?

So i have my nurse teaching appointment booked in and they said i will receive my meds by courier before the appointment.

I haven;t heard anything yet from the company, does anyone know how long they got their meds before the appointment? x

Hey,

I had my drug lesson on the 7th November, but they couldn't fit me in for a EC this side of xmas so I will be starting hopefully on the 23rd dec, but they said I had to call the first day of my next period so they could work it out xx

no hun, not yet, they said that it may be the week before to a few days before, but each clinic may be different x

I never had a lesson on doing the injections! Had to follow a video on YouTube ! Very stressful at first, mixing was the worse! So difficult ! Got the hang of it by the time I was on the last day! Drug companies usually advise you quite quickly about delivery once ordered by the hospital. Good luck!

I got my drugs the day after my appointment. We were still able to practice with the empty needles they had and they gave me some flyers that explained what to do! Xx

I got my meds after my appointment. For my fresh cycle the clinic had a practice one for me to have a go at (I am guessing it was just water) but for my frozen cycle they just pointed to the needle (which was already preloaded with liquid and powder) and showed me in theory what would happen as I pushed the syringe in and they all combined. I have to say I did find the fresh appointment better as I actually got to have a go at it myself. Good luck!
