In pain day after Endo scratch

Hey gals

So I had my scratch done which was quite painful but over quickly, thank god. The nurse gave me a pad for a bleed but I only spotted a little bit and just had a slight cramping feeling for a couple hours. However today It’s feeling a lot more painful and sore, very sore,is this normal? I would have thought this would have happened after the scratch and not the day after. I hope everything’s ok just a bit worried.

Thanks xx

Hey, after my 2nd scratch I felt a little uncomfortable for a couple of days but if you’re worried I’d contact your clinic or out of hours number if you have one xx

Hi Veekay80. I would have thought the pain should be easing. Only just read this post, so hopefully it has by now. If not, you may need to get checked out in case of any infection arising from the procedure. Usually you have a course of antibiotics afterwards, so keep up with those if prescribed. Thinking of you. Hi Veekay, I didnt get antibiotics with mine but got told to keep an eye out for signs of infection - this was the advice....

Please contact clinic if you experience any of the following within a few days of the procedure:

•Unexplained fever

•Persistent bleeding or smelly vaginal discharge

•Increasing lower abdominal pain

Hope it eases up ok!xx

Hi. You're best guided by your clinic, but they do often prescribe a course of antibiotics. Look at "Cinderella5's" advice below too. Diane
