Is this looking chemical?

I could only find the same brand in my supermarket, and how likely is it you'd get the same result twice? I'm going to do another tomorrow as I read this within 5 minutes and there was a faint positive line and this is how it's dried. Top is yesterday bottom is today.

Because the lines getting fainter could it be chemical or the difference between two tests?

Driving me crazy

Awww I'm sorry you havent gotten a more definitive result!😕 It could be that your other one has just dried darker as has had longer to dry so hard to say but I guess it's a possibility that it's a chemical or levels arent high enough to see much change in the line. I feel for you, it's a shitty position to be in!xx

I purposefully didn't test early this time 🙄 but if I had of done I may know if its chemical. I will do another this afternoon and tomorrow morning. Then Monday I can speak to the clinic if I'm still non the wiser 😂 never thought it would be this complicated. But my hubby said he could see the faint line within the 5 mins too x

So annoying, cant bloody win eh?!! Like I said, the other one has had longer to dry and my tests always darkened as they dried. Good luck, will keep my fingers crossed for you!xx

Did you do tests at same time of day? Very weirdly I had fainter lines in the very early mornings..

You could always have a private hcg blood test done. They can tell you results same day. Your first result isn’t as important but the 2nd test in a couple of days time gives a good indication of viable pregnancy.

My tests were super faint up until day12 (I tested 3 times a day like a weirdo), my hcg was 24 at day 9 but everything planned out! 👍

Good luck

Kind of yes one was 2am this second one was 6am. I'm going to do more this afternoon and tomorrow to see if anything changes if it doesn't I will get the clinic to do bloods x

Mine were super light at those times of day..

Don’t drink too much this morning and wait till you need to go to the loo as opposed to trying to squeeze one out. Try it around 2pm 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Hi Montgomery, I was the same. I did 3 different tests on my test date and they were all light. One test was out of date too. So I wasn't sure whether it was a chemical pregnancy or not. Mine was a saturday morning too and the clinic would open on monday. Like you the line did go blue within 3 minutes but took time in developing and was a weak line.

I then bought 3 more tests during the day, the frer ones and also the one that counts weeks. I waited 24 hours as normally the hcg level double between 24 to 48 hours. My second line came up instantly. I would suggest waiting for another 24 hours and testing with the first urine of the day. Also wait about 3/4 hours after drinking water etc as normally (I'm always thirsty at night so constantly drinking water) the hcg level wont be as strong and slightly diluted so the test might show a weaker line. Goodluck hoping the line gets stronger xx

Hey! You really need different tests. These blue dye cross ones have given me really bad false results on several occasions. So sorry you are going through this confusion. Xxx

I agree with others don’t think those tests are that sensitive . I used clear blue digital pregnancy tests easier than looking at lines ( tested as early as 11 days post ovulation & got a positive) . At this early point need a very sensitive test with first urine. It’s hard to say as yesterday’s test would’ve dried & May look darker. Good luck xxx
