Is there anything i can do or look out for?

On my first round of ivf I developed OHSS after the egg retrieval. There were 14 eggs collected so not a huge number. I felt so ill when I went for my fresh transfer that it was cancelled and 3 embryos were frozen. My stomach was really bloated and I hurt all over. I was very disappointed but if they do go ahead and you get pregnant the OHSS gets worse and is almost life threatening. 5 months later I had a FET and have a beautiful 2 year old. So although disappointing if the fresh transfer is cancelled as long as they can freeze some embryos you will have other chances. Good luck x
Hi, I was told the same thing. Please don't worry.
They were able to collect 9 eggs from me and three made it to blastocysts.
I had a fresh transfer that time round and looking back, I wished I let them freeze it. I had so much going on with bloating etc and my lining but they left the choice to freeze or not to me.
It was a BFN for me. I don't share this to scare you but if you have the choice, maybe consider freezing so your body can get can get back to normal.
I really appreciate the advice, last night was tough my body feels really sore I have egg collection on Tuesday so just going to wait and see what happens
