Got my ivf appointment

Hi,

I've finally been given my ivf hospital appointment dates.

I was just wondering if anyone could now help me out on what the process is?

As I've been given 3 dates for October.

One is for blood test I've been told, 2nd is for consultation and scans.

Just not sure what the 3rd appointment is for?

I'm happy but also scared as now it seems like it's becoming more real.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The third maybe will be to see the nurse for the drug injecting appointment. We had an initial appt to sign paperwork etc, then we saw the consultant and then we saw the nurse to find out what drugs we were getting and they show you how to inject yourself. My bloods were usually done either at one of the other appts or at the local hospital & my baseline scan had been done before my very first ivf appt. in terms of process once you get the go ahead from the nurse drug appt you'll get a Calender to tell you when to start injecting, when to go for scans to check progress then as you go along they tell you when your ready for egg collection and what date that will be. Sounds a bit of a brain overload all written down like that but try take it it one appt at a time & good luck x

I'll keep you posted. All that I need to do is not stress and take it 1 appointments at a time.

After tests are all done your next one is consent, signing all paperwork and ordering drugs good luck 🤞🌈💋
