Hi everyone haven't been online for few weeks as trying not to read too many posts as I'm starting to feel really nervous . So story so far in June lost my beautiful embryo at 8 weeks and my world come crashing down around me . Then pulled myself together and started treatment again in August . Treatment has taken longer than normal as lining wasn't thin enough so took meds for a longer than normal time . Had my scan yesterday to see if lining was thick enough and good news it is . Now have my FET booked in for this Wednesdays which I'm so pleased for but I'm so nervous . I feel sick and worried and excited all in one . Just would like some advice on how to get over these next few weeks as I have so much doubt in my head . last time I was so positive and it went horribly wrong . This time I want to be positive but I feel if I do something will go wrong .
I know that scary feeling of allowing yourself to hope or believe it might work this time. I really struggled with the emotional rollercoaster on my last cycle and got off to a wobbly start this time as I had to delay my stim meds & in my mind it was just more disappointment.
Since then, things have been going well & I've been trying a bit of mindfulness every day which I didn't think would have been my thing but it helped so much in relaxing me and putting things in perspective. I'm now excited to be at this stage again and feel more prepared in dealing with a negative result, mainly because I know I can get myself back once all the crying is done!
So sorry to read of your loss, I totally understand your anxiety. I had a missed miscarriage last year and have just got a BFP (which of course I'm over the moon about) but have so much fear to that the same will happen.
Try to take each day as it comes one you've had the transfer, if you can have a few things to look forward to during the tww. I wish you lots of luck that this will be your time xx
