So today was my first 'real' step. Internal scan and first injection. To say I was a complete drama queen was an understatement lol. It doesn't even hurt yet I'm like a crazy woman. The nurse was very patient and reassured me that I wasn't the worst patient. WHAT EVER!!! However it's all for a good cause. I'm on the short protocol so started cyclogest today and will introduce menopur on Sunday. Monitoring scans booked for mon,wed and Fri next week. I'm excited, scared, apprehensive and everything else. I have found a lovely friend in a lady I met on here(shanks). She lives locally to me and we have been to the same hospitals etc. I just wanted to publically thank her for all of the continued support throughout. We are in this together. Thank you so so much x
Update: So today was my first 'real... - Fertility Network UK

that's great news. Don't undermine what you've already achieved. The first few steps are often the bravest! Good luck with your cycle xx
Aww sweet so lovely of you - yep we're in this together and I'm always here for you if you need to chat or ask any questions - hopefully we'll bump into each other one day at the clinic xxxx
P.s thank you for your support too it really means a lot xxxx
Well done hun. The 1st few steps are so hard. I'm sure they have had worse. I remember doing one of my injections in front of my sister and she ran out of the room screaming. The mixture of emotions you are feeling are completely natural. It's nice that you have got some good support and thanked your friend. It makes a world of difference. Good luck with the rest of your cycle xx
Yep, I was a bit of a wimp with my first injection and I am approaching day 10 of the long protocol....SO 10 down and 36 injections to go....9 for down regulating alone and the rest for the stimulation protocol and five visits to the private clinic before reaching EC. Good luck with everything!
