Everyone was so wonderful and thoughtful last week when I had my bleed at 12+1 (only one day after the nucal 12 week scan!) I thought I would quickly update you. Although I was scanned the day of the bleed and told all was okay, and even though the bleed only lasted that morning, I've been so, so anxious this last week. I was convinced something was wrong, especially since the bleed has coincided with my early pregnancy tiredness finally going away. So this morning after another sleepless and anxious night my husband dragged me back to the EPU. I was so anxious I was sobbing and hyperventilating in the consulting room, I was that worried something was wrong. But thankfully they scanned me again and all is fine. Phew!! They also gave me another talk about how if something goes wrong then women usually know about it - it is more than a bit of painless bleeding and that bleeding in early pregnancy is very common. MMCs on the other hand are not common.
So I hope that gives those of you who have also suffered bleeding some comfort. I am stealing Oakley80's line from an earlier post now: "it ain't over till it's over".
As for me, I think I'm going to always be anxious and waiting for the next bleed or disaster! But we are on holiday now for 10 days which should help a little. I am going to take a little break while we are away - promised DH no more googling or thinking about (in)fertility and to try and live in the moment while we are on holiday. But I will be checking in later and really hope to see some good news from all of you waiting for consultations/appointments/ test results, undergoing treatment, suffering through the 2WW or anxiously waiting for those first scans. Sending my very best wishes xx

For those who have bleeds at 8 and 12 weeks, I was told that sometimes it takes awhile for the body to know you are pregnant and a small bit of bleeding on week 8 and 12 is called breakthrough bleeding. Occurring around the time menstruation should occur xxx
I think your husband is right. You need to live in the moment and enjoy your holiday (although easier said than done at worrying times) but sounds like you've had some reassurance which is good.
That's definitely worth knowing! Usually even the sight of the slightest tint of blood is very scary when you're pregnant. Mine ended up in AF from spotting too at 8dp5dt in June.
