I thought I'd share my journey so far as I love reading other people's journeys too.
So I had our embryo transfer on Sunday at 9:30. I was told it was a top grade embryo and the embryologist explained where the placenta will form and the foetus begin to grow. (Pic added) Very interesting! So glad we got to a top quality blastocyst because last cycle I had one low quality blasto and a morula transferred and I left the clinic so negative. This time I feel so much more positive! This could be the one ππ»ππ€π»
Also smashing round 2 because we got 2 Frosties! βοΈβοΈ
I burst out crying when they rang to say we will get to be freezing! We never had this last time!
So roll on the 5th September and testing day!

So pleased for you isn't it amazing what we get to see, I do hope this is your time and I will be hoping you get amazing News on the 5th September 1 week today xx
Wow that's one good looking blastocyst! I'm no expert but it looks like a good size embie and a complete "pie crust" (that's what I call it lol!) round the outside....good luck!! xxx
I believe so. I had two imperfect blastocysts put back. One had a perfect embie but broken crust and the other was the opposite...perfect crust but the embie was on the small side. One decided to stick but I'll never know which one! Xx
Ah congrats! It's so strange how grades really don't matter much for bfp, but a better grade seems to make us feel happier. Sometimes I wish to have very minimal info! That's why I never asked for the grade. Just happy she said it was a good one! π
My embryologist only wanted to put the one back but couldn't decide which, as they both had their good and bad points....I said put them both back then! Took a bit of convincing but he agreed...and so glad he did else I might not be here now haha!
From what little I know, your photo looks perfect. Wish you all the luck in the world πππ
Hi claire, i'm in a similar situation to you at this moment in time. Lovely to have an update from you. Your pic is really clear. Its amazing to see isn't it! i said to hubby imagine this works and one day we say to our child, this is you at 5 days old!!!
Will be thinking of you during this wait. I swore to DH i wouldn't cave in and test but i'm considering to do one the morning OTD, before i have to go for blood test. He will be at work. Or maybe when i get home from clinic and i am waiting for their call. I know i wouldn't believe it until they confirmed anyway if positive.
congratulstions on you're 2 frosties also xx
Wow, well done. Good luck with the tww too. I have everything crossed for you. Can you tell usbwgat you did differently this time, if anything, for such great results? X
I followed the book it 'starts with an egg' and took the supplements it advised. But I also had my second laparoscopy (in June) to permanently remove a large cyst on my left ovary, part of the ovary was removed. So I think this helped blood supply to the follicles. No more endo for me ππ€π»
Also protocol changed to long one this time. I guess different protocols suit different people's follicle development.
So many variables but I guess it all helped πͺπ»
Wonderful news all round!!! Will be keeping an eye out for your updates lovely β€οΈππ€πΌππΌ this is so exciting. I have everything crossed for you! Wishing you all the luck!!!! xxxx
