Im currently 5 day post 5 day blast transfer, dont feel anything but tired and bloated.
I had my first round of ICSI in August last year and sadly got my period 4 days after transfer so the consultant said she wouldnt treat it as a proper round as the embryo wouldn't have had chance to implant...since then ive been told this can happen if the embryo doesnt implant so who knows. 2nd round was a fet which failed and 3rd was two frozen embryos which amazingly resulted in a BFP!!! We have never been so happy sadly i miscarried at 6.5 weeks, no reasoning.
We are having ICSI as my husband has a blockage caused by infection a few years ago...his sperm is plentiful and all looks good...and it fertilizes eggs perfectly. I am completely fine, have had all the standard tests along with cavity scan and hysteroscopy....nothing wrong.
I just feel so helpless, a year ago we didnt think wed be on ivf #4....
Feels lile everyone around me is falling so easily...my husbands best friend and my bro a month before he got married recently...so hard.
Please let me knowof anyone os also feeling helpless and lole it shoild have gone better than it has

Hi! My husband and I are also looking at ICSI round 4 in November. I completely understand, this time last year we were completely excited by this process that was going to give us a baby! Now it's more getting ready for the next fight! Fingers crossed this round is your round lovely xx
Hey, sorry to read of all you've been through. I to am in a similar position with IVF - last year I had my first cycle and got a BFP but miscarried, followed by 2 unsuccessful FET's. I'm going for EC on Monday for my 4th cycle -2nd fresh but never dreamt we would be in this position or of gone through so much in a year.
It really is a cruel journey - my SIL has had 2 children in the time we've been ttc and at times been quite spiteful which has just added to the heart ache. You'll definitely get lots of support here from people who 'get it' xx
It takes a very strong person to go through IVF even once, let alone 4 times. We will be heading onto attempt 3 in October/November. I know how you feel about family members - since we found out that we needed IVF we have had 1 niece & 2 nephews born with 1 more on the way!! It's so hard but I read someone else's advice recently reminding us that we don't want other people's babies, we want our own!!
