Pre-seed / conceive plus etc?!

Hi ladies, have any of you used pre-seed/ Concieve plus or any other types of these products on the market? Not sure if there just a gimmick or if any body knows any actual people who have had success with it, I'm a bit sceptical of the reviews!! Thanks X x

Thanks ladies, I know some of us have other complications which won't help, but wondered if this stuff made any difference at all 😀 x x x

Used pressed when ttc naturally, like Tugsgirl we didn't get our BFP when using it. My partner didn't like it either, he said it was too slipper (I did only use the recommended amount but maybe that as too much for us). He also said it made him feel like he was loosing feeling in his private areas 🙈 Don't know what all that was about lol. Anyway, tried it a few times but with no luck xxx

That made me laugh 😂😂😂 when me and my hubby used the recommended amount it was sooooo much, im normally quite narrow and it took away all friction 😂😂😂😂 so can understand what your partner means. we reduced it to a third of the recommended amount and it was ok again. Still not got our BFP either 😂

Congratulations hunny that's brilliant news, think I'll give it a go but perhaps with not quite as much as they say you should, anythings is worth a go x x

Thank you! I got mine off amazon and i used it the day after i got the strongest line on the ovulation tests. Id heard people say there was loads in the tube but i ended up just using the whole tube!

I didnt have any issues with lack of cm but like you i just wanted to try it to see if it helped

Good luck! Xx

I used it and didn't get BFP but that could have been down to bad timing or many other things tbh. I felt I didn't have much Cervical mucus around the time of ovulation (the way book described anyway) so it was recommended to stop/ reduce my use of tampons as they are bleached white etc and this really helped

I know what you mean on the CM I actually don't seem to get any at the time of ovulation and then it kicks in about a week later, I figure I have nothing to lose at this stage! Interesting info on the tampons will look into that x x x

I've noticed a difference since reducing tampon usage. I still use them for the heavy flow, but for me that's only a day anyway. Definitely give it a try if you can stomach the change.

On preseed, my friend got her bfp with it, but didn't have fertility problems. Like the others, we tried it and it didn't work, plus my hubby hated it even though we used only a fraction of the amount. Probably still worth using if you don't get much CM though as anything is better than nothing, right?! 😁 xx

Do you take your body temps in the morning along with tracking CM? Just you may find you ovulate a week later than you think if CM is a week after. I did loads of reading on this topic whilst trying to find out why we weren't conceiving. It can be brain overload too but was just a thought x

I use the clear blue dual hormone indicator as I'd be useless at temping and remembering to record it. I did try Evening Primrose from 1st day of cycle to ovulation and that never really made any difference, think preseed could be the way to go 😊 x x

Just saw this and wanted to add my own experience with conceive plus. Used it twice, and between its high Ph level and DH's sperm, I ended up with bacterial vaginosis. Four months of pain and tests and I finally had to cure it by myself with probiotics. I don't think it was severe enough to have reached my tubes, but I know that bad cases can leave scarring, which obviously doesn't help with fertility! So I'd be careful of this product.

It's a total gimmick. Tried both and was never able to conceive naturally and like someone said, it was just too slippery!
