Hi ladies what's your thoughts on exercising whilst doing stimulating drugs? I go to the gym most lunch times but I'm not sure if perhaps I should just do walking instead?

Hi, how are you. I have the same doubt. Before I started the Clomid I went to the gym four times a week, but I stopped. I never asked my doctor about this, I just stopped and started running in the mornings. I do not think there's anything wrong with that. I have never felt bad for running and it also requires a physical effort. I also do yoga. Anyway, I do not do it because I'm very paranoid.

After researching I think it helps lower your stress levels. I think as long as you don't overdo it then it's ok. I would be lost if I just did nothing!! I'm good at the moment ask me in a week when the drugs kick in lol... I hope your ok and keeping well.

I backed off on my last round and did yoga most mornings and then walked at lunchtimes. This time round I will probably continue to go to the gym but won't run - bike or cross trainer and weight training if I feel okay. You know your body so I think so what feels right and don't push it too much. xx

I think I should do some exercise as you have to keep your body active. I stopped running also last time did brisk walking cross trainer a very light spin class a few toning classes. Thanks for your advice I put on 8lb last lot of medication as I was on 450 a day medication for 12 days to blast my low eggs. It will be the same again this time round. Good luck x

I put on 10lbs!!! And so far I have lost about half of that.... 450 is high - yikes! Bless you. I'm going up to 300 this time (I think...!!! Higher than last time anyway - joy!). Hope you go okay this time round and I'm sure keeping active will help mentally as well as physically. It's good to still feel like 'you' as much as possible I think. xx

I know exactly how you feel!! In terms of mentally it keeps me sane!! My Amh is only 9.6 and I'm almost 43 so I need all the help I can get hence the high dosage.xx

I'm in the same boat - normally go to the gym 5 times a week & do weight training. Last cycle I asked the question 3 times to different nurses/doctors and all 3 said to continue exercising but cut back the weight slightly. Tbh though the drugs took care of that anyway & I didn't really feel like exercising to the same level. Just listen to your body - it will tell you what you can and can't do!! Xx

I'd like to know this too - I'm forever asking different medical professionals and my conclusion is that they don't really know! I'm going to be down regging soon and not sure whether can continue exercising. When I was stimming I think I stuck to walks as I think someone told me that you want all your energies going into creating eggs xx

I was advised to stop hiit and change to walking just before down reg started.

One of my doctors said don't do anything too aerobic before or after egg collection when the follicles are bigger.
