I forgot to ask my consultant whether exercise should be avoided during treatment. Obviously I will at egg collection/transfer. What advice have people being given I run a couple of times a week only a couple of miles I'm no marathon runner 😃 but find it great for my mood!
I was told exercise up to EC was fine, particularly if your body's used to it. However bear in mind what the drugs do to you and how they might make you feel. Particularly as you get close to EC, depending on how many follicles you have, your stomach might feel full and bloated and you might not feel like any exercise (I didn't and I had about 15 follicles). Good luck with it all! X
I kept exercising initially but once I started taking the injections my ovaries started to swell and it was uncomfortable to walk let alone run! I avoided exercise completely during the 2ww. It was the thing I missed most as I find exercise a great way to relieve stress too.
I exercised up to last night when I started my 10 day injections, my consultant said light exercise is fine but I do gym classes and that's a no go. I think gentle runs will be fine as long as you feel up to them xx
Thank you ladies for your comments good luck & best wishes to you all xx
