Does anyone know the statistics for this?
A baby at age of 40: Does anyone know... - Fertility Network UK
A baby at age of 40
I don't know about that but my sister naturally conceived and and normal delivery at age of 39- first child
Same for my sister... 39 naturally first baby...
My colleague conceived naturally at 40 with her first child, I have two friends who are 41 and both pregnant naturally (second and third children); I'm hoping I'll eventually be part of these success stories xxx
My sis conceived at 40 naturally. I've not managed to do so and have been trying since I was 39. It depends on the individual I think. x
Lower as you get older... but I just got a BFP at 44 using my own eggs!! I was told I had a 5% chance of success so it really can happen There is lots you can do to help your chances too, I ate organic for 3 months leading up to IVF, no alcohol (and I mean 0% alcohol!!!) no smoking(never have) no caffeine (still drink caffeine free organic tea and coffee) took DHEA supplements, Ubiquinol, and pregnacare conception for 3 months before. Also cut out processed food as much as possible.. Give it a go, you really have a good chance as you are a lot younger than me. It is all down to egg quality rather than age, just try and live as cleanly as possible xxxx Best of luck xxx
My Nan (rest in peace) had 13 children; her first at 19 and her last at 42! I think she would have been able to have more but Grandad got poorly. Good luck to you 🍀 xx
My mum had me at 43!!! But think she visited the youth fountain as she is dam amazing for her age. I am 37 and hubby is 40, we just had our bfp.
Wishing you lots of luck. Age is just a number Hun xx

But keep in mind that with each year your chances decreases but overall level of medicine, especially IVF, increases.
So it`s possible to have bigger chances later in time even with personal decreased.
I am 40 in a few weeks and had my daughter in January and am hoping to have another go at ivf nxt year with my 2 frozen embryos. I'm pretty sure statistics are 70% . It all depends on your egg reserve and quality of the eggs . They said my egg reserve and quality were high. 😊
Don't read too much in to the stats, love the replies here of the 'older' women I was TTC from 35 but my first baby will be born naturally this year at 39. Reading the stats on ivf aren't great either but they still have good successes. If you are healthy and you have a decent egg quality and reserve you have as good a chance as anyone lots of luck x
I conceived my 1st child naturally when I was 41. I'm 44 now and trying for #2.
Best of luck to you x
Thanks guys!!
