Omg what a day. So currently 7dp 5dt and managed to burst into tears in front of some poor soul at work who had to gall to casually ask if I was "alright".

Me in my (clearly) high hormonal state took this as a good enough c'mon to literally turn on the water works!...and even 2.5hrs later I'm struggling to turn them off 😭😭😭 (my dh can't wait for me to get back from work....not!)

Yes work's a bit sh*t at the moment but it didn't warrant such a display of snot and tears (I'm not a pretty crier!). ..work don't even know about the ivf so I couldn't even use that as an excuse. So for now, my entire team think I've lost the plot and being men will probably spend the next few days teetering around me walking on eggshells.

The struggle's real peeps! #hormonalmess.

You see some girls delicately dabbing at their tears...I was a full on red nose, puffy eyes job. I nearly used my cuff to wipe my nose (as had no tissues to hand)...but luckily remembered where I was! 😂😂😂

I work in a male dominated environment and seen many blokes lose it. Even though they don't cry they make full prats of themselves by doing things like lashing out or saying some stupid things. Difference is they don't feel crap for doing it!

So dont you worry about them for one moment. We are all allowed a wobble. And perhaps even the nice ones with wives and daughters can relate that we react differently than them.

It was weird as I didn't feel angry and didn't even realise I was upset. They came out of nowhere and I just couldn't turn them off....so embarrassing as I can't even give an excuse! xxx

I've burst into tears at yearly reviews not because I'm female and emotional but because its not allowed to punch my boss in the face when he clearly deserved it (my old boss)

Screw them. They don't need to know the reason. Could have been that your cat is ill or your worried about a parent or friend.

This process is so tough and messing about with hormones should not be underestimated for its effects. Having an ovary removed screwed me up for at least 6 months and you'd think the little thing wasn't doing that much!

Tbh the issue at work was about poor leadership...so yes I'd like to punch a few of them too!

Not got much planned for the weekend as it depends in my test results! Testing sat (although otd is monday) eeek! I need to be prepared as possible if it's another bfn, as I'm working Monday 😫

I need to book a remortgage appointment...that's about as exciting as it gets 😂 I am on holiday the week after though so can't complain!

Must be the day for it! My manager was back from holiday today so had our 121 chat. Started off with the usual how are you and all he got was tears and snot. 🤦🏻‍♀️.

....I'm not even getting any treatment just now so I have no excuse. 🙈

😂. Definitely not just you. I was just telling my husband (who works in the same place) that the manager said do you want some water.

All I could say was no. It was an actual sob. #joysofbeingawoman.

Safe to say the issue I had was swiftly improved after that meeting. This embarrassed me as much as the sob did.

Poor guy, he's new to management. I'm definitely giving him experience at dealing with emotional people.

Haha .trust iv had those moments a couple of times when talking to friends on the phone.i would just start crying coz i felt like it.my dh also got tears friday morning while we were in bed about to get up and prepare for work .i cry when it hits me .there is no telling what will trigger the water works.haha .

Oh don't worry...my crying was interspersed with me laughing too as I honestly wasn't sure why I was crying. Must have looked like a complete looney! xxx
