I have been taking Norethindrone for two weeks to start my period but have not yet to start my cycle. I have taking a urine and blood pregnancy test that were both negative. It is driving me crazy not knowing what's going on with my body because all I ever wanted to be is a mother.

The drugs can delay your period I'm afraid. It's happened several times to me. Try to hang on in there. I know it's hard. x

The same thing happened to me. I stopped taking them on Thursday and still no period x

I think the period usually comes a few days after stopping taking them (on the advice of the clinic) xx

Thanks for replying so quickly. I just took it upon myself to see a infertility specialist at the end of the month because my obgyn can only do and tell me so much.

Hi Peaches-123. Unfortunately norethisterone is notorious for delaying periods. Be patient and it will arrive. good luck with it all. Diane
