Thank you - their daddy is just as obsessed with them as I am. They are great company and I can't imagine TTC without them being around to get all the love I need to give! Xx

What a gorgeous post! Totally agree, my cats will always be my first children. They are 9 yrs old next month and continue to bring joy, love, humour and comfort into our lives 💝😺

Your raggies are absolutely spectacular!!! 😘

Thank you - so glad there's another crazy cat lady out there. My partner's previous cat died after a year of me moving in, (nothing to do with me moving in 😂), he was 14, and it took my partner a couple of years to feel like he could contemplate getting another one. We have always had moggies but I fell in love with Ragdolls when babysitting for a family and did research and we decided to go for one - a few months later we decided to get a second one and called her Tootsie but sadly at 9 months old she deteriorated and passed away because of the rare disease FIP. I was devastated!!! That was alongside TTC too but before we knew we had any issues... we then got Boodle so feel like a family of 4...but a human baby would seal the deal of course! Love your country cat name and hope you are doing well and feeling good!!!! Xxx

Ah a fellow ailurophile! Cats have been my favourite things since I was 3. I had chronic asthma as a child and I was supposed to stay away from kitties which were a trigger...but no. I could not. If we went to a house with a cat, I had to go find it, much to my poor mother's delight 😱 My hubby, like yours, is also mad about cats and ww have kept them ever since we moved in together 13 years ago. They enhance everything and are my world. Ragdolls are exceptionally lovely and I am sure you have given them a most loving and safe home xx

I'm so pleased you and the hubby both love cats dearly - it's so lovely to both be so besotted with them! Hope your asthma isn't too bad these days despite your years of feline fondling?! Due to the nature of the breed, ours are house cats to keep them safe, so we are forever entertaining them with new toys and activities and make sure they get a good workout with the laser pen each day! They even have their own cat playroom (as there's no baby)! We also take them out into the garden every day for supervised nature time! I call it their forest school time 😂 xxx

It all sounds like kitty heaven - fantastic! My Dad (in Cape Town) has a Maine Coon who is also a house cat. He has a harness and my Dad walks him in the garden in the summer 😉

Ours were pretty much house cats until we moved house 18 months ago. We now live in the middle of nowhere and they have trees and fields - a mini little kingdom! Cat toys are awesome...I really have to reign myself in pet stores or I'd spend an absolute fortune!!

Give those divine cats of yours a big hug from me 😽

Definitely, she picks up on everything and is always ready for a cuddle. Our other one is 11 weeks I love them to bits but a baby would just complete the family xx

We have 2 simease and 2 cockers I had my cats way before I met my husband ( I was going to become a crazy cat lady no men). My husband hated cats but they soon won him over there favourite spit is purring on his knee! Lol lol.

I don't know what I'd do without all my fur babies they d

Certainly keep me sane through all this crazy treatment.

Your cats are beautiful and I love there names

xx

I love dogs too, lucky you having both! I grew up with both. Do your fur babies all get on well?! So glad to hear the cats won your husband's heart x

Scarlett13 profile image
Scarlett13 in reply toScarlett13

Ps I came up with both their names - it's amusing when my boyfriend calls 'Winky!'

in reply toScarlett13

Yes they all get on , well I think the cats tolerate the dogs lol .

Are yours house cats or do they go out?

Lol lol I'd find it amusing him calling him winky too 😂.

I grew up with dogs so when I announced I was getting a cat everyone said what do you want a cat for ! So I called my first cat marmite because you either love cats or hate them lol lol

Scarlett13 profile image
Scarlett13 in reply to

House cats - was told by the breeders that they would get lost/run over/beaten up/stolen if let out! But we take them in the garden every day supervised and also over to my boyfriend's mum's garden to see winky's 2 brothers! Fonz and Mork x

in reply toScarlett13

Mine are house cats as well , awww how lovely he still gets to see his brothers 😊 x

Awe gorgeous pair. I have my 3 at home Ginger (spice), Baby (spice) and little Callie the kitten. Husband equally as obsessed as yours.

I often think that they could keep me going no matter what. They happily soak up tears with a purr!!!!

Scarlett13 profile image
Scarlett13 in reply toHannah_85

3! Lucky you xxx cute names x their purrs are better than a meditation I swear!

Look at them two posing. My good god, they are absolutely beautiful. I am highly amused, Winklepicker is one the nicknames for my cat - who I totally and utterly adore and love.

IVF worked for me (now thinking of FET for sibling but its unlikely to work, stage 4 endo and in 40s) but I still completely love and adore my 12 year old cat. He is a complete dude but has always always been there to get me through pain of endometriosis, my surgeries and IVF.

I really think people don't get how in tune cats are with their owners. When I'm in pain (still get endo pain), my lovely furrball sleeps next to my head, staring at me. I want him to live forever. We feed him organic food.

He is also so patient with our toddler, who runs after him and generally harasses him (out of love).. not once has our cat lashed out.

Good luck to you with TTC. The cats will help i am sure. And good day to Ms Boodle and Mr Winklepicker. If I met them I think I'd have to shake their hand and curtsey - they look so posh. xxxx

Scarlett13 profile image
Scarlett13 in reply to

They don't act as posh as they look! Must be their upbringing 😜 how funny that you nickname yours winklepicker!!! We tend to call him Winky or Mr WP. Congrats on having a baby through IVF - love a success story - how many rounds did it take? So beautiful that she can now grow up with cats. Good luck with getting a sibling and hope your endometriosis pain is bareable xxx

What gorgeous cats. You have to love the fur babies. We have two. Rufus a tuxedo ex tom cat that thinks he's a dog and beau a long haired fluff ball who doesn't know how to be a cat as she was separated from her mum too early. Love your cats names. Our cats show names (if they ever should want to enter a moggy show!) are Lord Rufus purry face and madamselle beau beau furry trousers chirpy pants. :-)

What amazing names your cats have too!!! Love it! We always refer to their fluffy backsides as their bloomers. They are so entertaining! Just seen that you're pregnant - congratulations!!! I hope zippy is doing well and it has lifted my hope xxx
