IVF ABOARD.... Advice Needed Please

Hope you are all well. Me and my partner have decided on IVF treatment, hopefully in Cyprus.

Please can anyone DM me if they have been to this clinic or no thing about them.

Also any benefits having treatment aboard.

I haven't been to that clinic... but I was treated in Northern Cyprus last month. It was an amazing place. Whereabouts is Clinic?

It was very cheap, the people were lovely and if my clinic was anything to go by the people there were amazing xx

Thank you for replying, its Kyrenia, North Cyprus. All I'm really concerned with is what will I have done there and what I will need to do in the uk. My partner had cancer at a young age so will be sending over his sample that he's had stored.

Hope you don't mind me asking but did you have to undertake any test in the uk first. They said that I will need to bring blood test result that I will need to carry out.

I will have more information when they call but I'm so inpatient to no what will happen as this is the first clinic me and my partner have finally agreed on together lol. xx

Hey, I had everything done in the UK at my hospital. They are linked to the clinic I went to along with 2-3 other hospitals in the UK. So I had all my tests etc and they just sent me to the the clinic in Cyprus with them etc.

Kyernia is supposed to be really nice - but I'm sure the tourism is the least you're thinking of right now!

There are ladies on here who have had to sort their own tests out here first... and google helped them find good priced ones in their area!

At a guess you'll have to have all your bloods and then your scans here closer to the time.

Kyrenia is very pretty. It'll be a lovely relaxing place for you to recover after your treatment. If you are going in July or August though, be prepared to be really really hot! It gets so hot it can be tricky to sleep. Take a fan in your handbag at all times. I'd also really recommend wearing a sun hat. Also, find some antihistamines you can safely take as you will get insect bites. I'm currently in the south staying at my mum's and I have been bitten really badly. July and August aren't quite as bad but if you're not used to the climate, the insects seek you out. I hope your treatment goes well. xxx

I got bit when I was there.... I've never been bitten before anywhere! Totally want to go back despite the biting! X

Hi ya , everywhere I go I get insect bites and I also get a reaction from then so I'm always really for that . One year I couldn't walk lol . Thank you for replying I keep hearing really good things . Soooo I think we have finally found our place thank god 🎉🎉🎉🎉 xx
