I'm really nervous and trying not to stress about it.
Are you worried about going abroad in general or turkey? xx
I'm worried in general I think going abroad will be less stressful getting away from our busy lives in London and inlwas lol.
I think the medication side of it scares me
And the fact of it might failing or a miscarriage I had 2 ectopics which were traumatic for me and still upsets me that I lost both tubes in 1 year.
Is there any health advice also on how to prepare for healthy eggs?
I've just been abroad. It was amazing. I had a uk co-ordinator here and in Cyprus (northern Cyprus, under Turkish control). The clinic were very professional and we extended the trip for a break which was lovely and killed some of that dreaded 2ww!
Sounds like you already had quite a journey but this could be the start of a new one. What made you go abroad?
I can't help you with healthy eggs... mine are very bad quality and not very many of them either! There's a book some ladies mention on here called 'it started with an egg' which helps improve quality xx
Hi, my family live in Turkey and I had a consultation out there, great prices and Hospitals spotless and advanced.. Sadly I couldn't have treatment there as I'm using Donor sperm and single which the Muslim faith does not allow.. U hope you get on well.. Istanbul is a fabulous city.. Loads to do and see, clean and organised too.. Wishing you all the best xxxx
Thanks lady's good to hear positives
We were thinking of goin on holiday to turkey then thought y don't we see what the ivf is like out there and started investigating and liked what we read
We have chosen jinemed hospital and been in contact with the they respond fast which i love because I'm so impatient and want answers
Will have to have blood test scan here and email the results.
The price is also a plus too.
im going to north Cyprus for the 3rd time in October (Turkish) found them excellent once you get there you just go with the flow. Nice holiday too! X
I myself know a few ladies who underwent ivf at clinics abroad, and got pregnant. Ladies have been happy with Czech clinics (Zl*n), Polish (Invi*ta) and Russian (N*S). From what I know top clinics abroad offer pocket friendly prices and top notch treatments. Keep my fingers crossed. xx
I've in boxed you a message
Salaam how did it go??
Hi,I had IVF Treatment in Turkey. The whole package (treatment,transfers,4* hotel accomadation for 18 days and translation services) cost us 4750USD in Izmir Turkey with Newlyou company. We were really satisfied with the service.Highly recommended.
Did this include medication or was that a separate cost. Also did you have to have scans and bloods before you went.
How long were you in turkey for
The needles are not included in this price. They were around 500usd as far as I remember. You can have done your scans and bloods in your country and send it to the doctor however I did everything there. It helps the doctor to diognase your case before your arrival also it saves some time.I was in Turkey for 18 days.
Salaam sister
Im planning to go abroad for ivf/icsi (turkey)
Wanted to know more about your experience and outcome.
Aleykum Selam.I have been to several doctors before and according to them my case had low success percantage.I was really satisfied with the professor. He was very clear to me and explained the treatment steps with details. The proffesor is amazing as he is the first doctor who performed IVF Treatment in Turkey. And after the treatment a successful end happened:)I can recommend them.If you want more information you can contact Newlyou Turkey as they are his foreign department relations.
I have been researching on internet and have come across few clinics in Istanbul. Jinemed ivf turkey, medicana hospital
Any advise
The one I went is in Izmir Turkey. The city is worth to visit as it is the 3.biggest city of Turkey. The clinic was really good and the prices were more economic comparing the ones in Istanbul. Also the traffic is not an issue as the hotel and the clinic are very near to each other.
I have spoke to a clinic on whats app
I have the option to start treatment here in UK. Then fly to istanbul (7days)for second half eg. Embryo Transfer etc.
Did you look around before choosing this particular clinic?
Also do you recommend long stay or shorter option
I searched a lot and decided For this clinic as the professor is specialized on what he is doing.I did not want Istanbul as it is a very busy town.I wanted to have my treatment in a calm place and be relax. The location of the hotel was amazing. How much is the treatment in Istanbul?
£1900
£500 meds
£2400
Our rate was 4300euro including 20days accomodation and the ıvf treatment
What hotel did they give
So I can see pics on google
Park Inn by Radisson
The hotel is very good.Located at the heart of the town.
radissonhotels.com/en-us/ho...
Did u stay there for the 18 days.
Are you still waiting for outcome
Is the clinic up to standard.
Seen some google earth pics and it looked like on a side street like run down area.
The clinic is in high standard. The professor is very knowledge person. He satisfied me with his speech at the first meeting. The clinic is not in fab location as it is surrended by hospitals and clinics nearby but the hotel was located at fab location.
I did my treatment last year.I have a baby now😊
Alhamdulliah
They now offer a different 4* hotel and the price is 3700 Euro for IVF Treatment +Hotel +Airport Transfers +Translation Services. You should get the benefit of this price.Really good!
Hi Sophia we're planning a trip to North Cyprus in April. So I have been researching about clinics there too. Someone posted that she spent £10k - that’s tests, meds, ivf and PGd, travel and hotel. What type of treatment are you getting? Just PM me for the clinics I'm eyeing.
Hi dis you complete your ivf in Turkey? Any advice
